While Hollywood’s awards season may now be over after a very eventful few months – we won’t forget that Oscars race in a hurry – London is still delivering glitz and glamour on the red carpet. Held on a surprisingly sunny Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall, the 2025 Olivier Awards brought together the great and good of acting royalty to celebrate British theatre.

It was a big night for Fiddler on the Roof, Giant and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which each took home three awards. Romola Garai won Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Years, beating herself in the same category, while Lesley Manville – who recently appeared on the Burberry runway – won Best Actress for Oedipus.

When it came to the fashion, the evening was a tasteful affair. Former British Vogue cover star Elizabeth Debicki looked ethereal in a floor-sweeping Dior gown, while Maya Jama opted for a fitted houndstooth skirt suit. Meanwhile, Cate Blanchett continued her just-raided-the-runway approach to dressing in a high-neck dress from Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2025 collection.
